JOB DESCRIPTION
A Channel Manager develops, services and grows relationships with channel partners. This role includes developing sales strategies, negotiating with partners and training and developing their sales team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with Channel Partners
- Continuously train partners’ sales team on company offerings
- Hit Monthly Sales Quota for the Territory
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service and management resources, in order to meet partners’ performance objectives and partners’ expectations
- Monitor Sales and Operational Results Based on KPIs
- Represent the Company at Industry Trade Shows

- An excellent communicator who is able to express his opinion clearly and convincingly;
- An active listener who takes time to comprehend what others say and uses the information he learns to build relationships;
- socially perceptive and aware of nonverbal cues to feel out how a negotiation is going;
- innovative in his quest to help his channel partners to effectively sell his products;
- able to develop and to maintain partner and prospective partner relationship
- able to negotiate contracts and growth plans with current and prospective channel partners
- able to analyze Key Performance Indicators to determine the health of a channel partner relationship
Qualifications
- four year college degree from an accredited institution
- ten years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment
- power users of Microsoft Office and basic networking knowledge will be advantageous
